Terms and Conditions

It is your responsibility to read and understand the terms and conditions set out below. Please take the time to do so before booking your lesson;

1. By using/accessing this website you are agreeing to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.
2. If Ignite Driver Training cancels a booking that you have paid for, Ignite Driver Training will provide a full refund or reschedule the booking if preferred by you.
3. Bookings are non refundable within 3 days prior to the booking commencing.
4. If a student is unable to attend due to illness, Ignite Driver Training may, at its discretion, permit the lesson to be rescheduled outside the standard cancellation policy.
5. All fees paid for paid for tests (VORTs) are non-refundable.
6. Payments made in cash must be paid at the beginning of the session directly to the instructor, unless alternate arrangements have been pre organised.
7. We reserve the right to terminate a lesson if your behaviour warrants it (eg, reckless behaviour, failure to comply with instructions or if we deem you unfit to operate a vehicle or suspected to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol as reasonably determined by us. In this situation, there will be no refunds.
8. It is your responsibility to hold a current Australian driving licence, permit or equivalent overseas licence and carry it with you at all times during a lesson. Digital licensing is permissible. The full fee for a booking will be due if these requirements are not met.
9. If you leave any personal property in the instructor’s vehicle, the onus is on you to organise collection. We accept no liability for such property.
10. Ignite Driver Training does not accept any responsibility for traffic infringement notices incurred whilst you are driving.
11. Students must be ready at the agreed location at the scheduled commencement time. Lesson time may be reduced where a student is late, however the full lesson fee will remain payable.
12. Ignite Driver Training, for any genuine reason, reserves the right to refuse service.
13. To the extent permitted by law, Ignite Driver Training will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from participation in driving lessons or assessments.
14. Authorised Examiners used for VORT testing are independent of Ignite Driver Training. We therefore accept no responsibility for the outcome of any driving assessment.
15. When using our vehicle for any driving lesson or assessment and damage to the vehicle occurs as a result of a student’s negligent or reckless conduct, Ignite Driver Training reserves the right to recover $500 insurance excess.
16. Ignite Driver Training may seek your consent to use photographs or testimonials for marketing purposes. Such consent may be withdrawn at any time.
17. You agree that your personal details may be shared with relevant 3rd parties, including, but not limited to, the assigned examiner and Department of Transport.
18. You acknowledge and consent to the use of vehicle-mounted cameras and recording devices during lessons and assessments. Recordings may be retained for safety, insurance and incident investigation purposes.
